Today, PCSO Rawson and PCSO Furmidge visited Renishaw Primary School and Ridgeway Primary School as part of Operation Sceptre to deliver educational inputs around knife crime awareness.
The sessions covered the risks and consequences associated with carrying knives, personal safety advice, what to do if they are asked to carry a knife, how to respond if they find one, and the importance of reporting information or concerns to the police or a trusted adult.
These engagements form an important part of our ongoing work to educate young people, promote community safety, and encourage positive decision-making.
